Chase Castor is a documentary and portrait photographer from the Midwest, based in Kansas City, Missouri. He has a BS in Electronic Arts from Missouri State University where he studied capturing, editing and producing audio and visual media.
He takes a documentary approach, capturing events as they unfold. For portraits he has experience in the studio and in the field, specializing in environmental portraits.
Chase is a freelance photojournalist and contributor to The New York Times, The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Buzzfeed News, HuffPost, Vice, and local publications and news outlets.
Commercial photography clients include Hallmark Cards, Google Fiber, Advil, Rush Wade, RW2, Native Digital, Trulia, San Jose Tourism, Kansas City Public Library, Powell Gardens, Overland Park Kansas Tourism, Summerhouse Films and more; where Chase contributed portraits, headshots, and photography for client's social media content libraries.
