For about two and a half years I lived in a contemplative prayer community in LaCygne, Kansas. The community was simply called LaCygne. Inspired by the Benedictine Rule and a community called Taizé in France. The community shared meals, work, and prayed the offices three times a day. A beautiful group of around 20 people, from various stages in life, sharing life together.
The book is broken into four sections that reflect the seasons in nature as well as the seasons of the church.
The book is about 170 pages and contains hundreds of images captured on 35mm film and digital.
